What the traffic light system means for Christchurch & Hanmer Springs Attractions
Christchurch & Hanmer Springs Attractions has adopted the COVID-19 Protection Framework to ensure our attractions can operate as freely as possible while keeping our staff and visitors safe.
Under the traffic light system visitors to our businesses will need to :
- Wear a mask in all indoor areas
- Comply with any additional public health measures that are in place at the time of their visit
Our staff and contractors will be complying with these points as well, and sanitiser will be available for guests and staff to use. In line with the Government’s Covid settings, My Vaccine Passes will no longer be required to enter our Christchurch & Hanmer Springs Attractions as of 5 April. We ask guests to postpone their visit if they are feeling unwell.
Under the current traffic light system we will be open at all levels. Please note that some seating restrictions will be in place for our Christchurch Tramway Restaurant at the red traffic light setting.
For visitors affected by the framework who can no longer use existing tickets or vouchers, we are happy to discuss this with you. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope to welcome you to our attractions soon.

Do I need to wear a mask?
The traffic light system recommends masks are worn at all levels, so we are asking our guests and staff to continue wearing their masks indoors at all traffic light levels. Guests under the aged of 12 do not need to wear masks.
